When I select Shutdown from the Start menu, it shuts down, then the hard drive (Seagate Barracuda 1TB) spins up audibly, then restarts. I tried the shutdown /p command and it still is restarting itself.
I went to Device Manager, selected the Intel network card, and disabled "Allow this device to wake the computer".
In the Advanced tab, there is nothing, that I could find, regarding "wake on magic pattern", nor "Wake on pattern match", unless I was looking in the wrong place .
In the Device Event Viewer there is a Kernel event for:

I looked on the HP website for drivers, but says it is no longer supported. Ant way to get this up and running. Cannot afford a new PC, or even a refurbished from Walmart, which is what this PC is. Had it for 4 years and has been doing great until now.
Thanks for any help ASAP, please. Larry
