My PC was working good with two memories 4+4 = 8GB but today when I power it on, it is producing beep sound with red light in the Power button. I removed 1 Ram of 4 Gb and its working with only one RAM of 4 Gb now. I have checked the slots and both RAMS also and those are fine. There is no problem in the RAM and Slots.
Kindly suggest.

It would seem that one of the RAM cards has failed. Since it works with one RAM card, it would seem the one that was removed is the one but, I would have the diagnostics routine check them.
To run the Diagnostics routine, start tapping the Esc key and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.
Report back with the results.
I'm not an HP employee.
