Hi

Sounds like you have a faulty BIOS update problem.

Did you install the F.57 BIOS update from HP or the optional HP firmware update 15.57.0.0 offered by Windows Update?

If yes, then you will have to wait for HP to Issue a BIOS update to fix this or see the second link below. Also check all options to recover the BIOS at this site https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04126730

Your PC will not POST. Many other 690 PCs would POST but freeze during operation. I don't know if you can boot to the Hiren's rescue media in your situation. Your MB is a paper weight at this moment if the PC will not POST.

Check this site https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/Fix-For-The-F-57-BIOS-Bug-Which-Causes-Windows-10-amp-... for more details and a somewhat complex fix for your problem.

Also check this site https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1997210-1528385-16

A 2:2 BIOS error code is a corrupted BIOS.

Hi

My pleasure.

Your PC has a proprietary MB, power supply, and case.

You will have to find a replacement HP MB. I would try eBay or similar sites for the correct replacement part.
