My HP Envy, was put in sleep mode because of the fan noise, when I tried to boot it up I got nothing, the only thing that worked was the green light on the back. Nothing lights up, no noise but the monitor says no signal but the other devices are still getting a signal. I have checked the connections and all looks good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

The rear chassis green LED suggests the power supply is receiving AC power. This fact may not confirm the power supply is providing enough amps to start your PC.

It sounds like you have a hardware problem.

Any component may have failed. Solving a failed component issue in a forum is very difficult. You may need replacement components to troubleshoot the problem (this can be expensive) and the process is time consuming.

Contact HP if your PC is in warranty https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/contact.html

Have a local PC technician take a look if your PC is out of warranty.
