Since upgrade desktop tells me that my PIN needs changing due to changes in settings.  I sign into Microsoft; get a verification code by text and enter it.  I then get message asking if I really want to change my PIN as this may affect other things.  If I then click on "cancel" rather than "change PIN" it gives me access to the computer.  My husband has same model as me and has also just started getting the same issue occurring.

Hello

Try entering the verification code received from Microsoft. Change the PIN. This should permanently fix the problem.

This forum does not support password problem resolution.

Have been using a PIN on many PCs for many years. Upgraded many PCs. Have never had this experience.
