hp prodesk 600 g2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

at my work i been given the task of making a sysprep image for an hp prodesk 600 g2

it would blue screen before sysprep was done so i did alot of things

1. trying to install the hard control driver , update the bios

2. installing all drives and updates plus the software nothing was working .

3 so when in to the bios and found Allow PCIE/PCI SERR# interrupt and turned it off

4. Sysprep when throught so i had to find out why was it windows updating drives in windows updates

5 or was it this bios setting so i keep recreating the problems turning this and that on and off

6 but in the end Turning off Allow PCIE/PCI SERR# before i syspreped fixed it

7 just makes sure to turn Allow PCIE/PCI SERR# back on before it boots so you have no problems

thanks hope this helps

Thank you soooooo much. OMG I've been pulling my hair over creating a windows 10 image for our Deslpro 600 G2 and nothing had worked so far. I've done windows 10 images for other Deskpro models including Deskpro G1 with no problem at all.  Trying to create an image on a G2 was a different story though;  I spent countless hours updating the BIOS, drivers, installing Windows in different ways and the computer would always Bluescreen right before Sysprep was done.

I tried your tip about going into thge BIOS and disabling PCIE/PCI SERR and voila, it worked!!!!!

Thank you!

Hi

We just received 25 Prodesk G3 computers and they were having the same exact issue as the G2's , bluscreening when running sysprep. I applied the same fix and it worked.

Thanks again!
