Hello! As of recently, my dad's coworker has been having issues with his HP Chromebook 14 not turning on until a few hard resets. (Refresh + Power) I managed to fix that by recovering the Chromebook, but then it started shutting off randomly. I recovered it a second time and it worked for a night, but when I woke up the next day, it was totally useless, even using the hard resets. I can see the first part of the recovery screen, where it says to plug in external media, but I can't see anything after that, due it turning into a gray screen. I would appreciate some help. Warranty is expired. The Chromebook is a year or two old.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I tested it according to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04355990 in Crosh while it wasn't bricked, and the command storage_test_1 didn't work (wouldn't load, just quit due to something), only storage_test_2 did. All other commands were fine and gave me test results, no errors for those tests.
