When I power on my laptop, I get stuck on the HP loading screen. I ran a symptom test, a system test and component tests with all tests passing, but I still get stuck on the HP loading page. I also located my BitLocker recovery key and entered it in and still nothing. Please help!

Hi @Paige_P,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP laptop is stuck on the HP logo screen—even after running all hardware diagnostics successfully and entering your BitLocker recovery key—this typically points to a boot process issue or corrupted system files. Here’s what you can try next:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Power off the laptop.
- Disconnect all external devices.
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power and try booting again.
2. Access Recovery Mode
- Power on the laptop and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly (once every second) until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F11 to access System Recovery.
- If prompted again for the BitLocker key, enter it.
- Try Startup Repair or System Restore from the recovery options.
3. Boot into Safe Mode
- If you can access the recovery environment (F11), go to:
- Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart
- Then press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
- If Safe Mode works, you may be able to uninstall recent updates or drivers that caused the issue.
4. Reset the PC (if needed)
- From the recovery menu, choose Reset this PC.
- You can choose to keep your files or remove everything.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
