Hi, this is a customer's PC and I've never seen this before.
He said he had been using the PC fine then left it for a short while (circa 15 mins). When he came back he was prompted by this screen, asking for a password and to select keyboard layout. If powered off this is the only screen we can get it to display. Tried pressing F10/F11 and other function keys, sadly to no avail.
The Username shown in the pic does appear to be his Windows Account, but it doesn't allow him to continue if he enters any of his known passwords.
Would be grateful if there is a way to fix this as I just checked and the machine's literally only around 30 days out of warranty.
Many Thanks in advance!

If you regularly work on PCs then you should be aware that when the PC prompts for language, that means that Windows has become so corrupted that it wants to reinstall itself -- since language is an important consideration.
In such cases, I would suspect a failing internal drive -- as that is generally what causes the major windows system corruptions, and I would check that before attempting anything else.
