My HP ENVY PHOTO 6255 shows on the screen that soon I won't be able to print. How do I fix?

Hi @firewalker8111,

It sounds like your HP ENVY Photo 6255 printer is displaying a warning message possibly related to low ink levels or other operational issues.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your printer's ink cartridges have enough ink. You can check the estimated ink levels directly from the printer's control panel by touching the Ink icon. If the ink levels are low, you might need to replace the cartridges.

  2. Replace Ink Cartridges: If the ink levels are low, especially if the warning symbols are visible, you should replace the ink cartridges to avoid interruptions in printing.

  3. Printing Preferences: If you're trying to print grayscale documents, you can set your printer to use black ink only, which may extend the usability of your color cartridges.

  4. HP Smart App: Sometimes, using the HP Smart app can help diagnose and provide more details regarding the warning. If you haven't already, consider downloading the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer.

  5. Perform Maintenance: Check the printer’s maintenance options available through the control panel to see if there are any pending issues or maintenance prompts.
