ProDesk 400 G5 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased a new computer ProDesk 400 G5 MT and does not shutdown or restart after wake-up from standby on Win10 pro x64.

Tried everything is possible with no success:

1. BIOS upgrade & firmware/drivers upgrades

2. Uncheck Rapid startup in the power option

3. Windows 10 Pro x64 full upgrade

The only workable solution is to disable the computer standby.

This is really frustrating as I have the felling that the motherboard is defective, even if it passed the hardware diagnostics.

Anybody experienced similar issue?

Best Regards

Liberato

Hi, Liberato:

The only suggestion I can offer if you have not done so already, would be to update the Intel Management Engine Inteface driver to the latest version.

I know on notebook PC's this device causes similar issues to what you are experiencing, and updating the driver normally resolves the problem.

Hello,

Thank you for your support much appreciated.

I tried to update the Intel Management Engine but it failed.

As a result, I decided to stop there and disabled the computer sleep mode which temporary resolved the issue.
