HP Z440 workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

With a new (refurbished) Z440 I recently got, there's an issue of numerous entries in the Problem Devices section of the System Summery  (and in the system devices section of the Device manager. For example:

Base System Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6FB8&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01\3&103A9D54&0&BC The drivers for this device are not installed.
Base System Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F60&SUBSYS_6F608086&REV_01\3&103A9D54&0&94 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Base System Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6FFB&SUBSYS_6FFB8086&REV_01\3&103A9D54&0&7B The drivers for this device are not installed.

The are dozens of this messages. From searching and asking questions on the Windows forum, the consensus appers to be that they are caused by issues with the Intel chipset software/drivers and the general advice appears to be to update them.  However, to date, all my efforts at finding out how to do this haven't resulted in a solution.

From what I can tell from sysinfo, this PC uses an HP 212B v1.01 motherboard.  Advice  such as "Visit the manufacturer's website, find the relevant drivers page for your model, and download the latest Intel Chipset drivers."  would be fine if I could locate what I'm looking for on the HP website, but I can't. Maybe it's me being dumb. It's just not obvious to me how to do this.

Searches tend to end up here - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-z440-workstation/6978828  and I can't seem to find anything there which applies to this issue.

Does anyone have any simple instructions on how to find and install the correct Intel Chipset Drivers for the HP 212B v1.01 motherboard? Or any other solution to the "Problem Devices" issue (documented here - https://windowsforum.com/threads/windows-10-installation-dozens-of-driver-errors.338371/

The Z440 appears to work fine at the moment, and recognized BS/2 mouse and keyboard when I plugged them in and restarted the PC.  Before the restart they were listed as "Problem Devices". After the restart the disappeared from the list. I'm just concerned that at some point in the future, with some other device, there might be issues.

This driver has always worked for the folks I have given it to.

Solved: Unable to find drivers for PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6F98&SUBSYS_6F98... - HP Support Community - 834...

Here's a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID's you posted:   The hardware ID's can be found in the Broadwell-DESystem.inf

%PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6FB8Desc%=Needs_NO_DRV,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_6FB8
