Recently I reset my hp windows 10 desktop pc (HP Slimline Desktop PC 270-pOXX) as I encountered problem to open Word, Excel,Power Point files. After reset in setting under activation it is showing 'windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account'. But every time when I open any file I am asking to activate with Microsoft account. I am unable to work in any excel file. Now in Excel file option has been stopped under right click like insert rows, column etc. and warned that many option will not be available . How to get rid of the problem ?

In response to that "ask", what are you doing? What choices do you have?
Via: http://login.live.com logon to your Microsoft Account. Check what software is recorded as being activated through your Microsoft Account. Hopefully, Microsoft Office is listed, and the information from that previous activation should be present.

Thanks for support. Now I realise the problem. I have seen that after reset my pc after reinstallation and update I found 'Microsoft Office Home and student 2016' and showing that it is unlicensed. Therefore though my pc was activated and linked with Microsoft account I couldn't work on Office. How it can be? where is earlier version of preinstalled Office programme came with my window's 10 pc . It should have been reinstalled after reset. Now I have to buy Office 2016, 2019 or 365. I am doing only ordinary work , no specialized work in office programme. Earlier version of Office programme, I could manage.
