When starting the computer there are two errors that pop up: 1801 Micro code error , 164 Memory Size Error. They appear separately, once its the 1801 and once 164. Also my pc would randomly power off without any warning (This usually happens after powering on the system for 10-20mins). And after trying to power it back on, it would go into a boot-loop with blue screens. But sometimes none of these happen and the computer is fine. When i've looked on the internet people say to update the BIOS but once i go onto the official HP site. There are no drivers to update.
Can anyone help?

@Wojtas1222 -- When starting the computer there are two errors that pop up: 1801 Micro code error , 164 Memory Size Error. They appear separately, once its the 1801 and once 164.
The "164" is the motherboard reporting that the quantity of RAM currently installed is not the same quantity of RAM that was installed at the previous time that you powered-on the computer. There could be several reasons for this, such as an "intermittent" stick of RAM -- sometimes it reports that it is present, and sometimes it fails to respond. Or, it could be an intermittent problem with the motherboard itself.
Your CPU is actually running a "micro-program" that is programming code to interface between the Windows programming code and the actual hardware. So, a failure of that "micro-code" is very rare. It is possible that the CPU itself is failing, and this failure may be causing the "164" error.
Also my pc would randomly power off without any warning (This usually happens after powering on the system for 10-20mins).
And after trying to power it back on, it would go into a boot-loop with blue screens.
But sometimes none of these happen and the computer is fine.
You may have an intermittent problem with the computer's motherboard, or the CPU, that causes the "glitch". Ouch!
When I've looked on the internet people say to update the BIOS
I have rarely found that a "BIOS Update" to be a "cure-all" for problems, and definitely think that an update will not solve your specific issues.
Once i go onto the official HP site. There are no drivers to update.
The internal structure of the HP Support website sometimes makes it difficult to find a relevant BIOS update.
So, just because you did not find it, it does not mean that there is no update.
Some BIOS Updates have been coded to work only when running the original factory-loaded operating system.
So, if you have updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 or 11, the update may be difficult to locate.
You will need to take your computer to a very-good computer technician, to try to trouble-shoot.
It may be time for you to buy a new computer, running Windows 11.
Microsoft will end all support for Windows 10 after October 2025 -- at the time, you will NEED to buy a new computer.
Plus, at that time, your computer will be an "antique" -- living having a ten-year-old automobile, or a ten-year-old water heater. So, it would prudent to "upgrade".
