Product: HP Laptop - 15s-du2067tu

I recently got my laptop fixed from a local retailer and he installed a pirated windows 11 in my laptop even though I had genuine windows and now I'm trying to activate my default windows using my product key which came when I purchased the laptop but it shows error saying that product key is not working and try using another product key.
Should I install windows 10 using bootable USB or is there any other option to  do so.

That model is supported by the HP Cloud Recovery tool

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4511095-4511141-16

You will need to download the software and reload a legal version of Windows 10 or Windows 11 using that tool and reload(reinstall).  No reason to be using a pirated version.
