Hello,
I am trying to add HP MP9 G4 Desktops for mass deployment into our IT environment for users. We have a step in our build to set the BIOS password using BiosConfigUtility64.exe which works fine on previous HP Desktops. However, this step fails on the MP9 G4 Desktops saying "Password is set, but no password file is provided". Even though a password file is provided in the CMD: BiosConfigUtility64.exe" /nspwdfile:"HP-BIOS-PWD.bin".
Can you let me know if this is the correct way or if there is some other way of setting BIOS password on the MP9 G4s?
Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
Regards
Ravi

Hi
Egg on me face time.....
If you receive an error message says that your "System is not supported. Unable to connect to HP WMI namespace" (see the screenshot below), then follow the steps below:
Download and install the HP System Software Manager (SSM) version sp2095.exe* from here
NB:
It is against the rules to assist with password problems, so this may well get deleted.
