Hello all,
This is not really a problem, it is just a question that I have been thinking about recently.
I recently reinstalled Windows 11 onto my HP all-in-one because of some software issues with my previous install, and I decided to get the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to try and install the software that it came with.
My question is: Is it possible to run the installer for the original HP software without having to reinstall Windows?
Any response to this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hi, @BABYMETAL1997
I have used the cloud recovery tool on a couple of notebooks, and you cannot select an option to install software and drivers only.
The recovery drive reinstalls Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the notebook.
FWIW, the cloud recovery tool for the HP business class notebooks does give you the option to install or not install the drivers and software.

I've not actually used it, but my limited understanding of that tool is that it is used to create a USB stick containing an HP OEM Windows image -- that you then use to install Windows. I know the old CDs often had the software on separate disks so you could install just them, but as far as I know, the tool does not work that way.
However, others who have used the tool may come along with a different comment.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Any additional software included in the recovery image, should be listed here as individual downloads:

If you are indicating that you'd prefer a 'cleaner' install, then download the Windows 11 iso from Microsoft and make a bootable USB with Rufus. It doesn't look like your system supports Win11 as it's not in the drivers menu. Rufus will allow you to bypass the Windows 11 requirements checks if you so choose.
