Product: Pavilion Desktop PC570
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I download this update via the HP Support assistant (ROM family ssid 82F2 update) and go through the install process including the restart. But, it fails to install everytime. Anybody else having this issue? If so is there a fix?

Hi,

 

Can't find your PC using PC570. You need to provide a product number which is usually on a sticker affixed to the chassis.

 

SSID 82F2 refers to the Lubin motherboard (Link). Look in Motherboard Description to see the SSID.

 

It is best to download BIOS updates at the HP Support site for your specific PC. You need to verify the SSID 82F2 is for your PC's motherboard.
