Well the fix seems to be more of an intermitant fix. Times when I boot up and check, the error is back. Run the fix since its already in the right browing spot, its fixed till next boot.

What is this serial port? Id it important to proper use of the PC? I have no old serial equipment.... :smileyindifferent:

Hi:

 

If you are using the PC for home use, that device is not applicable unless you are hooking up a serial based device to it.

 

Most people use either the old parallel cable printers, USB printers or wireless printers.

 

I have no idea why you are getting that issue.

 

You may want to uninstall the device, check the uninstall driver box, restart the PC and use the manual installation method again.

 

Don't even try the auto install this time.

Hello, the error just doesnt seem to want to go away.
Any other ideas? It changes from COM4 to COM3?Screenshot (45).png
