Hello, after some difficulty I finally created a recovery usb with the HP cloud recovery app. I manage to get through everything at first until it asks me to restart and remove the usb drive. After rebooting it seems to be working for a while, but after it's 3rd or 4th time restarting it says recovery has failed. I've retried it several times. Is there anything I can do?

Hi:

If the cloud recovery tool isn't working, there is only one thing I can think of that you can try.

That is to set the date in the BIOS to the PC's 'Born on' date.  That has occasionally worked for some forum members.

It has something to do with any software with a 30-day trial license.

If that doen't work either, then your only option would be to clean install Windows 11 by making installation media with the media creation tool at the link below (2nd option).

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.

After W11 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
