Hi everyone
i ran into an issue while trying to upgrade my All-in-one with a new SSD. I have changed the hardware without problems, but when trying to recocer wibdows (hacibg preciously created a recovery usb with the HP recovery manager), it went well for about 10 minutes, but as it got close to the end got an error stating the above.
the ssd i bought is fron crucial, as recommended by them to be compatible with my system.
bios recognizes the ssd.
what can i do?
i really need this to work.
many thanks!

If you had WIN 10 installed, it will detect the Product Key. Go here and run the "download tool"to install it directly. Be sure to only have the SSD connected.

Hi! I highly appreciate your taking the time to help me!
just so that i understand: i need to make a bootable usd with the link you provided and then use this to reinstall win 10. It should recognize my product key because of? (Motherboard?)
and i no longer need the recovery usb i created with recovery manager, right? Just because i only have one usb available and need to understand what to do.
my son will be so upset tomorrow if he can’t connect to his online class because i messed up with his computer.
thank you so much!
