Hi,
I'm after some assistance, I had an issue with my desktop where it was stook in a constant boot loop, I tried to restore this by using the onboard recovery system however this part of the hard drive failed, I have since ordered the recovery software via the HP support site.
Since using the software I have managed to reinstall the operating system, however when the operating system is proceeding through the steps to install the remaing software on the machine I recieve this RedScreen error and cannot seem to find any advice on how to fix the issue.
I have attempted to to reinstall the software again however have come across the same issue. Has anybody else had this issue and no of a way to resolve the issue so I can start using my dektop again.
Below is the error screen I keep receiving.
Thanks

Hi:
Unfortunately, I can't help you with that specific issue. There are many different posts regarding that problem, with about as many different solutions that don't work for everyone.
However, there is a way to get your PC back in action pretty fast without using the recovery media.
Make your own plain W10 installation flash drive or ISO (which you later burn to a DVD), so you can reinstall W10.
Use the Media Creation tool at the link below to do that.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
W10 should automatically pick up the product key in your PC's bios and install and automatically activate once you are reconnected to the internet.
Then you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page below.

This thread is very old however, I'll give my suggesting for others that might be looking for a solution to this issue.
It is MORE THAN LIKELY that the reason this red screen error happened is because there are prehaprials attached to the PC other than the only ones that should be...the monitor, mouse, and keyboard should be the ONLY things connected to the
PC during the recovery process, DISCONNECT all other prehaprials, INCLUDING YOUR LAN INTERNET CONNECTION, make sure to remove all USB flash drives, accessories like cameras, SD cards, printers...EVERYTHING EXCEPT
THE MONITOR, MOUSE, AND KEYBOARD! Make sure to disconnect the ethernet cable from the PC itself!
Once you do that try reloading. I had this happen myself and indeed it was the ethernet connection that
made the recovery fail. But of course it isn't included in the HP instructions I received with the recovery discs I received.
If anyone has success after this problem post your experience and let others know! Thanks.
