Product: HP t620 Flexible Thin Client
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I recently purchased a refurbished T620 with a blank flash SSD and am trying to install an operating system like ThinPro on it using the HP ThinUpdate tool. However, it appears that the write filter is enabled on the device so any time I shut off the power, I lose everything on the SSD (all partitions, OS, everything).
I then tried to install Windows Embedded Standard 7E on it to try and disable the write filter, but I get the message that the device is not licensed for it. There is a yellow "Windows Embedded Standard" sticker on the info card you can slide out on the cover - is there something else I should be doing here?
