I cannot find the info I received previously. My HP Simplesave backup is full and I need to remove some of the older files.and change some settings. This was fairly simple.the last time.

@tomhf
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
If you want to back up another computer or drive, simply unplug your HP SimpleSave drive and plug it into the other computer.
Follow the same steps as detailed in “How to Back Up Your Files” on page 3.
The HP SimpleSave Monitor appears in your system tray after the initial backup is performed. Click here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01824301.pdf HP SimpleSave Backup Software User Manual.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

My problem is having too much data on the SimpleSave. I need to remove some files to free up space and change the settings to ensure I do not fill the drive up again. I have way more data stored on the device than I have on my C drive. Nothing I find seems to indicate the best way to eliminate files or optimize the way files are stored or kept. I use Quickbooks Pro and much of the data is likely from this program. I was able to delete files for given time periods using the Windows 7 option in Settings/Security but this does not tell me what files are included.
