I have a failure ID: PLHJM3-8509JD-9VV6MG-60QMO3 when I ran a check my PC. Each time I turn the computer on it goes to repair disk errors and says this might take over an hour to complete. Can I be told what I need to do please?

Hi:
The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.
Below is the link to the service manual for your PC, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04717087
After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the Media Creation Tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
