I presently have a h8-1090t set up for RAID 0. The SMART diagnostics have indicated an imminent hard drive failure. I would like to replace the two hard drives with a SSD. Is it possible to install a SSD in a spare SATA socket (presently used for a CD ROM). The goal is to transfer the contents of the failing RAID 0 drives to the newly installed SSD.

Problem Solved!
- Purchased a Crucial SDD
- Cloned the RAID0 drive to the single SSD using the free Crucial software
- Uninstall the two RAID HDD and installed the cloned SSD
- Rebooted and everything worked fine (boots much faster also)
