Replacing twice failed HP Envy hard drive, without repurchasing Windows..??

HP ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 810-330qe CTO

Hello,

I have an HP ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 810-330qe CTO that I simply refuse to give up on, despite enduring a second hard drive failure amid relatively light use (I use my HP laptop FAR more often).
I've spent countless hours trying all forms of hard drive recovery options, to no avail, ever. The original hard drive failed just before the one year warranty, and the replacement hard drive has been giving me issues till finally just refusing to boot. Anyway, I'm to the point of simply wanting to replace the hard drive, and my main question is whether or not I have to repurchase Windows 10? I bought it five years ago (Costco); it came with Windows 8.1, yet I took the upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as it was made available. If my hard drive fails, I see no reason to have to make a new purchase of Windows 10. How best can I allow for Windows 10 with a new hard drive installation on my desktop, yet without having to repay Microsoft for it? (The original computer obviously didn't come with any WIndows 8.1 disk.)
Thanks...

Hello, it has no problem, you don't need to repurchase Windows to reinstall it on an other hard drive. Your Windows license are recorded in the BIOS, so you can reactive it easy.

You can use this tool to download Windows 10 and create an install media if you don't have it:

Download Windows 10 - microsoft.com

After, you can boot into the install media taping F9 starting up your PC, and on the screen asking your keygen you just need to click on "I don't have product key". You select your Windows edition, and the system need to be automatically activated after installation.

If I have been answer to your question please accept it as a solution 🙂
