This should be the proper answer in 2016. As many users upgraded their Windows box to Win 10 and the other suggestion won't work on UEFI based computers. The other answers seem not working properly on Windows 8 and 10.

I don't think the Offine NTpassword is a best way to reset login password .i have never been successful with it, it is too difficult for me, but some tools are easy to use for resetng password ,Google for it .
