HP Envy Desktop 83c1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

Power went out and my desktop was in middle of an update..  once back on it said "Preparing to configure windows screen" and got stuck there. I opened the recovery manager and tried to factory restore the computer. It said it's missing drivers.

"Restoration Incomplete
The restoration did not complete.
Please select one of the following options:
Save log
Details
Retry"
Pressed escape on start up. Ran all the tests, came back fine.
I tried booting with usb drive in recovery, same message came up. Changed boot order in the F10 bios menu... didnt make a difference.

I only have a tablet for back up device that wont open the windows 10 I downloaded onto a usb.

 

I'm completely lost. I've read many forums . It's been 3 days, I use it for work.

Sorry, can't find any information using the desktop model 83c1 you provided.  Please supply the detailed model number.
