My computer was rendered useless after being supplied new from Currys. After some use it asked for the bit locker key! I did not have this and Currys were no help so I used Ubuntu as the operating system Now I would like to use Windows 11 so wonder if there is a way to do this?

According the the support site, that model is supported by the HP Recovery toll"

HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10 and 11)

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool is an application developed by HP.  It enables customers to access a digital download of their recovery media and create a bootable USB drive (Minimum 32GB) to recover their units back to factory status.

Download tool here  Microsoft Store

If that doesn't not solve the issue, you can make the install media for either Windows 10 or Windows 11 by going to the Microsoft Media Creation tool
Pick the Windows version (10 or 11) and follow the directions.

Thank you Old Man! I now have my pc working with Windows 11. I just hope the Bit Locker block doesn't reappear. I think Microsoft should have allerted every body buying a PC and using Windows should have announced this extra security measure. Certainly Currys where I bought this from should have known and supplied me with the Bit locker key? It is very kind of you to help people with their computer problems.
