Hi,

If what you mean is that you're performing a clean install, try recreating the bootable media with a new iso from the Windows website. This will eliminate if it's an issue with the iso or the bootable software. Also, check to see if you accidentally created a bootable USB that matches your PC. Check to see if yours says UEFI or BIOS and create the bootable image for such.

The last possibility is a hard drive error. It could be an issue with a specific sector on the drive. Try installing Windows on a different machine using the same USB stick to help us eliminate potential causes.

Thanks,

Connor

Ok. If you were able to get to a username and password screen It is definitely not broken which is good. 🙂

I'm assuming you don't remember your login details? There are ways around it using old windows cd tricks however it can be quite complex. I would just recommend taking it into your local store and asking them to "fix" it for you. The easiest thing if you don't have any important programs on it would be to perform a "clean install". It can be a bit hard but it would reset your Windows installation and move all your files to a Windows.old folder.

Let me know what you're most comfortable with and I'll get back to you. 🙂
