OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1099nf

Good morning,

I have an HP desktop Omen, model 17 CB1XXX,

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, running Windows 11

Recently i started  getting Intermittent blue screen crash BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG INFO, usually after 10 mins, not before then every now and then , I upgraded to the latest version of windows 11 , still the blue shows up on a regular basis

In recovery mode I run extended HP tests

Memory ok, cpu ok, then I run extended tests on the SSD disk SAMSUNG MZVLB1TOHBLR-000H1

Smart verification failed with a “ERREUR LOGICIELLE” meaning software error and the test was cancelled, short DST test was successful  with a warning, further tests were canceled with a warning

Not sure what to do with this SMART software error as it doesn’t mention clearly a potential disk failure ?  Should I disable SMART in the bios, upgrade or ? Should I investigate an other part of the PC ?

Any idea on next step to further troubleshoot this issue ?

Fixed,

beside the software erreur blue screen I had multiples « critical process died » blue screen

I upgraded the BIOS, run sfc /scannow , clean up temp filles and tried multiple other approaches and was close to res install the PC from scratch.

As the PC was crashing after 5-10 mins and the every now and then I thought it was an hardware issues caused by a component warming up but extended hardware tests didn’t reveal any issue, I then physically clean up the two fans, not 100% sure it was the issue but somehow the PC is now working fine.
