Hi,

I have received several system firmware updates to various components of my All-in-One PC.

After installation, I've noticed that these files are still on my system's hard drive in two places:

  • C:\SWSetup
  • C:\ProgramData\HP\HP Support Framework\Softpaq... (I use the ... because there are several subfolders each with one or two of these files -- identical to the ones in the first location

My question is can I delete one of these or both?   If one, which location?

Thank you in advance!

You can delete the C:\SWSetup folder.

That's just where the drivers unpack to.

Do not delete the \ProgramData\HP\HP Support Framework\Softpaq folder because that is where the files installed to.
