Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

You can replace the 1 TB platter HDD with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

 

Your MB also has an M.2 socket for an M.2 SSD, look in "Expansion slots".

 

HP is not indicating at the above site link if this M.2 socket supports SATA, or NVME, or both. HP consumer PCs generally support NVME drives but there are exceptions where the MB only supports SATA M.2 SSDs.

 

A different Forum member might have additional info on M.2 drive support.
