SSD not detecting in BIOS

Hi @1N12420JQX

Welcome to the HP Forum.

What type of SSD?

- 2.5 inch SATA,

- M.2 PCIe or M.2 SATA.

You can review supported storage devices for your PC at the following Link.

I would guess the M.2 SSD is not supported or the M.2 socket is disabled due to PCIe lane switching.

Also, the storage specs at the above link only list: PCIe NVME drives and Optane drives so a M.2 SATA SSD would probably not be detected by the MB.

And some HP PCs don't play well with certain 2.5 inch SATA SSDs.

Regards
