Hi

The SWSETUP file on my SSD drive is 10.9 Go on 119 Go.

So it's part of the 101 Go used and 16 Go remaining.

The rest is :

Application : 39 Go

System : 37.8 Go

Other : 23.5 (11 Go for SWSETUP) the rest under 50 Mo.

Can i copy SWSETUP somewhere else ? (2 TO drive is 594 Go used, 1.23 TO free)

Can i delete it ?

Thanks

Hi:

Yes you can.

There are no running files in that folder.  It is a folder full of driver and software installation files.

What I do with mine is to get a portable hard drive, create a folder, name it for the model PC it is, and copy the SWSetup folder into that folder.

Then I delete the SWSetup folder on the PC's hard drive, and run the TRIM utility under the Windows Administrative Tools section (Defragment and Optimize Drives).

There is no need to have that folder on your PC's hard drive.
