Scanner does not work.  Already tried HP Scanner fix.  Could not get phone number.

To start, could you share a little more about what’s happening?

  • Is your scanner not being detected at all, or is it giving an error message?
  • Are you using it over USB or a network (Wi-Fi/Ethernet)?
  • Have there been any recent updates or changes to your computer?

In the meantime, here are a couple of quick steps to try:

 

  1. Restart Everything – Power off your scanner, computer, and router (if using Wi-Fi). Wait for 30 seconds and turn them back on.
  2. Check Connection – If you're using a USB connection, try a different cable/port. For Wi-Fi, ensure the scanner is on the same network as your computer.
  3. Reinstall Drivers – Sometimes, reinstalling the scanner software helps. You can download the latest drivers from HP official website.
