Hi @Tejeshwar2003,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Pavilion 14 laptop's screen is continuously blinking, it could be due to various reasons. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to identify and potentially resolve the issue.
- Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary glitches causing the screen to blink.
- Check for external causes: Ensure there are no external factors causing the blinking. For instance, if you're connected to an external monitor, check the connection and try disconnecting it to see if the blinking stops.
- Update graphics drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can lead to display issues. Visit HP's official website and download the latest graphics drivers for your specific laptop model.
- Check for Windows updates: Windows updates can also include important driver updates. Make sure your laptop is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates.
- Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your laptop and boot into Safe Mode to check if the blinking persists. If the issue doesn't occur in Safe Mode, it could indicate a software-related problem.
- Disable hardware acceleration: Some applications, particularly web browsers, use hardware acceleration for better performance. Try disabling hardware acceleration in the application settings to see if that resolves the blinking issue.
- Adjust refresh rate: Right-click on the desktop, select "Display settings," then scroll down to "Advanced display settings." Lower the refresh rate to see if it makes any difference.
- Run a virus scan: Malware or viruses can also cause strange behavior on your laptop, including display issues. Run a full system scan using a reliable antivirus program.
- Check for loose connections: If the blinking persists, there might be a loose connection between the display panel and the motherboard.
- Hardware issue: If none of the above solutions work, there could be a hardware problem with the laptop's display or graphics card.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
