Envy All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an Envy All-in-one 34" desktop.

For some reason, regardless of how I set the "Power & Sleep" settings, the monitor does not shut off when I expect it to. Also it never goes into sleep mode.

This all used to work. Nothing that I know of has changed.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

These kinds of issues are nearly always caused by vide drivers -- and even though you have not updated those drivers yourself, MS Windows Update will do that on its own -- without your permission and without telling you.

So, to check for such updates, open Settings --> Update & Security --> Windows Update --> View update history

If you see a recent video driver update, then try to uninstall that update.  If that works, then follow the instructions in this thread to disable driver updates:  http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.h...
