I want to sell my PC and do a Secure Erase on the SSD beforehand. I don't find a vendor tool for the Samsung SSD because it is not supported by Samsung Magician. I failed using Linux live systems because the SSD is locked and I didn't find a way to unlock it. When I use the HP Recovery Manager, I have the following two options (translated from German): "System restore: Restore the factory settings" and "Factory settings: The computer is reset by deleting the entire hard disk and restoring the factory settings". The second one sounds about right. But does it really perform a Secure Erase on the SSD or does it just reinstall it?

The second option you mentioned reinstalls the operating system after deleting all partitions, formatting the drive and reinstalling the operating system.
It does not perform a secure erase.
If you are very concerned about your previous data being compromised, I suggest you remove the drive and sell the PC without one.
You will find that many businesses do that when they recycle their PC's to a PC reseller.
