Windows 11
I think I got hit with a virus. The screen filled with error messages and went blank.
When I turned it on I got "secure boot violation " message.
I figured out how to get to the F2 menu and ran all system tests both quick and extensive.
I did the F10 to reset to defaults and saved the changes.
Still nothing.
What now?

A "Secure Boot Violation" message typically indicates that the computer's BIOS is preventing the current operating system from booting due to a security measure intended to ensure the system boots. Here are the steps you can take to resolve this issue:
System Recovery: If resetting the BIOS to defaults did not resolve the issue, consider performing a system recovery using HP Recovery Manager. This process can restore the computer to a previous working state.
- Access the recovery environment by turning on your computer and pressing the F11 key repeatedly until the Choose an option screen is displayed.
- Select "Troubleshoot", then "Recovery Manager".
- Choose "System Recovery" or "Minimised Image Recovery" (if available) to restore the PC to factory settings or a previous state.
Disable Secure Boot Temporarily: This can sometimes help if a recent system update is causing the issues.
- Enter the BIOS setup by pressing the F10 key repeatedly immediately after turning on the computer.
- Navigate to the "Security" or "System Configuration" menu.
- Find the "Secure Boot" option and disable it, but be aware that this might reduce your system's security.
Check for Malicious Software: Once you can boot into Windows:
- Use Windows Security or a third-party antivirus tool to perform a full system scan to detect and remove any malware or viruses.
Reinstall Windows: If the above steps do not work, you might need to reinstall Windows:
- Create a Windows 11 installation media using another computer and a USB drive.
- Boot from the USB by entering the boot menu (usually F9 or Esc key) and selecting the USB drive.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall Windows. Make sure to back up important data beforehand, as this will erase your current data.

I tried all of those except getting a USB drive to boot from.
I disabled the secure boot and downloaded Malwarebytes. None found although that was what cased the problem, so maybe I'll try a different one.
I also did a reset/ recovery from the cloud and from my pc.
Still getting na no boot found when I enabled it.
I'll keep trying or take it somwhere.

Kindly perform the HDD test and share the test result with us.
To perform an HDD test on an HP laptop, restart the computer and repeatedly press F2 to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI menu. Select Component Tests, then Hard Drive/Storage, and run the Quick Test. If issues persist, select Extensive Test for a more thorough check

I ran the quick and extensive tests on the hard drives, even letting loop.
Passed.
I did a restore reset but it still won't boot up with the secure boot enabled.
I downloaded an antivirus again and only using the computer sparingly.
With these boot discs or USB thing work? I just have to explore finding the key on my computer. It came with Windows 10 and I upgraded to 11.
