I am using the info straighr from the sticker! See:
However, unless I am blind and type it in wrong, it does not work on any HP website, search tool, HP part surfer, etc:
How could this happen, and how could I get a correct serial number to program my motherboard?
The issue right now, is I am encountering boot warnings, as detailed here:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/Boot-Warning-Requiring-me-to-press-spacebar-Pr...
But I cannot get the SN to be able to work in HP part surfer to get a feature byte. Help!

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately none of that info will provide the original serial number.
Find one of those PCs on eBay and make your own serial number.
Start with MXL the next 3 characters will be numbers.
Since many of those PC's were made in 2020, enter a 0 for the year 2020, and the the week of manufacture would be (01-52) so pick any two numbers you want from those options and then the last 4 could be numbers and letters.
For example, the serial number on that eBay listing link I posted shows it to be MXL0164RDH.
You wouldn't want to copy that serial number exactly.
Perhaps you can just change the week of manufacture from 16 to 26 or whatever you want.
You can use the same product number (7UA13UC#ABA) as hundreds of HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstations would have the same product number.
Or you can pick a product number from one of the hundreds of other HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstations that came with the same processor as yours.
None of that info is critically important since your PC is no longer under warranty.

You use the serial number from the case.
Unless someone removed the label on your PC, every HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation has a label with the product number and serial number on the top right side of the case as is shown in this eBay listing.
HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation, Xeon E-2144G, 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe No OS/AC | eBay
All serial numbers will start with MX for Mexico.

Interesting. MX as in made in Mexico, or sold into Mexico?
All stickers that would have been on the outside are gone. Only stickers on the inside are left unfortunately. It seems there was sometimes also a sticker in the bottom of the case, not sure what it was, but that part is also gone.

Ok, thanks Paul!
I guess, in that case, all traces of the original Serial Number are gone.
I'll mark this as resolved. I am curious, however, if any of these could help recover the SN?
