In Windows Task Manager I am noticing High CPU Usage for a service called Service Host: State Repository Service (SRS for short). When I looked it up it is an App Infrastructure tool and is critical to the system. I tried using the solutions I found online to fix the issue: Restarting the service, Repairing MS Edge, Updating windows, etc... The only thing I did not do and I refuse to do is a clean install. No way, no how, ain't happening. I have sufficient knowledge in IT to know while that may fix the issue, it is not the best solution for the end user. Anyway, I noticed something else that this process only shows up in high cpu range only when I select an audio daw software program called Studio One 4. I can have it open and as long as I am not actively working in the application my CPU usage from SRS is non existent. The moment I click somewhere within the app SRS appears with high CPU usage. Anyone have any ideas, other than a clean install to fix the issue?
