Sleep mode not working

HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0005na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

Today for some reason the sleep mode stopped working. No idea why. No changes have been made to the computer - which is a desktop not a laptop.

 

I have tried changing the plan settings to make sure sleep is allowed and have ensured it is set to work. It still works if you manually select sleep in the start menu, just not after the 15 mins set. However the screen saver does work.

 

Any ideas?

Well this is very strange...late last night the sleep mode started to work again. I have done nothing at all. I did notice that later that evening, there was an update for W10..so does that cause sleep to not work correctly?
