This desktop is really slow plus the mail and password I had was from my moms old phone, she lost it and it’s been years me and her don’t know neither the mail or password and I want to delete the account and make a brand new one that I know I’ll have the password and mail saved very well. Please and thank you!

@Yericka, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like you're dealing with a slow computer and an old account that you can’t access anymore—definitely frustrating, but don’t worry, we’ll get you set up with a fresh start! 😊
First, try recovering the Microsoft account. On another device, go to Password reset and enter any email or phone number you think might be linked to the account. Microsoft will guide you through recovery options, like sending a code to a backup email or phone number. If those aren’t available, click "I don’t have any of these" and follow the steps to verify your identity. If successful, you can reset the password and log back in.
If the email is completely unknown, go to Forgot username and enter any phone number that might have been linked. Microsoft may help you find the right email.
Then, if you can log in, the best approach is to create a new account and remove the old one. Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users, then click Add someone else to this PC. Choose I don’t have this person’s sign-in info, then add a user without a Microsoft account to create a new one. Once it’s set up, log into it, move any important files over, and then go back to Settings to remove the old account.
If you can’t log in at all because you forgot the password and email, resetting Windows is the easiest way to start fresh. Restart the computer and keep pressing F11 until the recovery screen appears. From there, choose Troubleshoot > Reset this PC, then select Remove everything to wipe the old account and reinstall Windows. Just make sure to back up anything important before resetting!
Once your new account is set up, be sure to save the login details somewhere safe (maybe even write them down, just in case 😉).
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
