Product: HP TouchSmart 7320PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new HP TouchSmart7320PC loses installed programs when it sleeps or is rebooted.  Does anyone know why or how to fix this problem?  It is very difficult to complete set up  of needed software with this problem.

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Is this your PC (Link)? This PC has an Intel H61 Express chipset.

 

This chipset is circa 2011 (Link).

 

I have never experienced your symptoms. Programs are saved to the storage device.

 

The installed programs should not disappear when waking from sleep or restarting the PC.

 

Contact HP Support (Link) if in warranty.
