Hi, I have a HP Pro Mini 400 G9-PC (4G4N7AV), purchased a couple of months ago, running Windows 11. PC worked just fine until yesterday, when suddently all sound disappeared. Could be because a software update, but I am not able to locate what software update it could be. Have tried to downgrade the Realtec drivers from 6.0.9557.1 Rev.A to 6.0.9484.1 Rev.A, but still no sound. Can not find any hint anywhere. Have tried looking in the event log, but could not find any useful info. Tried to install all available windows updates, still no luck. No hardware changes have been performed. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it?

Hi @r2rm
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I suggest looking at the Sound applet in Control Panel.
Verify default playback is set to Realtek audio. Set Realtek to default if it has been changed.

Hi, i have the same pc and the same problem. I contacted HP and i had to downgrade to version 6.0.9360.1. They emailed me a link to the file:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp142001-142500/sp142197.exe
Every time i start the pc, i have to remove the realtek driver and install this one. Very annoying.
