Hello all. so I believe my boyfriend put a listening device or some kind of spot device in my laptop, how would I go about finding it? please help!!!!!!!

Honestly, take your laptop to a local computer service shop and have them check it out.  They may charge you a service fee for their time.  Or maybe you know and trust someone in your circle of friends or at your place of employment who is computer savvy and have him/her take a look at it.  Depending how sophisticated your boyfriend is, there could be software involved (less likely, though).

Seriously, I doubt they planted anything in a modern laptop, as there is simply not enough room to do that.

But, I agree with @NonSequitur777 that you need to take this somewhere and have the laptop checked out, and in addition, they need to open it to examine the internals for any added hardware.

what makes you think that?

And if so, wouldn't it be software, or something like that?
Opening up the computer and placing something in it seems more complicated to me as well..
in any case, go to a specialist, there it may cost you dearly, for nothing, be sure of that before ..
Be that as it may, if it has come to that, watch out for yourself!
