Available storage options.Available storage options.

Attached above is a screenshot of the available storage options for my PC, I have asked an expert before now and they explained to me the types of slots for mass storage. They said it has two slots for storage, namely: one for M.2 SATA SSD and one for normal 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD, which can accommodate up to 120GB and 500GB (HDD)/256GB (SSD) respectively. But I've seen videos where some use up to 256GB for the M.2 SATA SSD slot, and it worked. So that makes me want to question the possibility of it working if I use a 256GB M.2 SATA SSD too.

You're very welcome.

Yes, that would be fine too.

Look into the Western Digital Blue SA510 500 GB 2.5" SSD.

This is the parts list specifications for the 120 GB mSATA SSD part number that is listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual:

HP PartSurfer

You shouldn't have any problem installing a 256 GB M.2 mSATA SSD.

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

Something like this:

Wow, thanks! So you mean I could just put a 512GB in the normal 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD slot? Cuz that will be a lot easier for me to do then...
