I was doing a full system reset and after the reset complete I’m at the HP Recovery Manager. The computer says
“restoration incomplete”
”the restoration did not complete”
”please select one of the following buttons”
”Save Log” “Details” “Retry”.
In the background is a CMD window with the term
”The system cannot find the drive specified.”
Repeated 6 Times
Any help with Getting a fresh install of windows would be so appreciated. Thanks

Hi
Hardware test, because the HDD may have failed.
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.
NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).
Post any messages.

I did all that and all the tests passed and couldn’t find the problem. After that I shut down and restarted it and it started flashing the boot screen the black over and over for about an hour. So I decided it would be best to deal with it myself. It’s fixed now and isn’t having the speed issues it was having before. Thanks for the help
